    I'm getting a Switch Lite for Christmas and I've been studying up on things. I heard (and knew) that games are saved to the internal memory of the system itself, but does it set aside GB/MB for saves or does it slowly take away GB every time you save. Just asking now so that I'll be ready when Christmas day comes along. I'm also getting two games (I'm only buying cartridges) and the flip case.

  7. The switch lite actually has the best looking display. Mostly because the other two are the same pixel count stretched out essentially. When I look at the oled screen it looks so terrible to me. The pixels are so huge.

  15. Just bought a Switch Lite for the Go, I like smaller and more compact, only reason I got it because of GTA coming out on it, I know the graphics and textures won’t be amazing like the will on the other consoles but playing GTA on the go is a Huge W In my opinion.

  16. After i bought my girlfriend her new phone i will be saving money for myself to buy a switch lite i hope to get it after christmas or before. I don't have tv or i don't use one. And since i travel a lot switch lite is perfect for me

The only thing that annoys me about the Lite is that unlike the switch which gets put in a dock or the 3ds which had a dock you could lay it on, you have to plug in a charging cable to the Lite which is annoying. (I know, I know, first world problems.) It is a pain to have to manually plug it in every time you’re not using it to keep the battery from dying.

I love our switch, but since animal crossing is coming out with that beautiful update and my girlfriend wants to play too we decided to purchase the switch lite so it’s separate gaming consoles and all I really want it for is animal crossing anyways. So I agree If that’s what your going for perfect!

  21. im entertaining the idea of possibly streaming but if that idea didnt exist in my head i would love to get the lite! color choice is a bit difficult though cus they're all so pretty 🙁

Somebody might have already said this in the comments but make the Switch Lite your "home" console in eShop (have to disable it from regular Switch first) and that will get rid of needing internet to play digital games. Only thing it will do is make the regular Switch require internet instead but if that's for in home use and not taken out of the house them nothing to worry about. Personally I have a regular Switch and about to get a Switch Lite just for lighter weight for longer gaming times like Skyrim. Skyrim I mainly play on Xbox One X for mods so Switch version is handheld mode only for me.

  25. I'm mostly a Playstation guy and I've been thinking of either getting a switch or switch lite. I'm still having an issue coming to a conclusion on which one to get cause with the Switch of the joy cons start having drift I can just easily replace them but if drift is still an issue for the lite that's gonna be much harder to handle but it is 100 dollars less and has a d-pad

    Also something that I think is also important to note is that I still use my PS3, I also play my PS4, and I also play on my Playstation vita a lot as well
    I also like to use the remote play feature on the vita from time to time

    So if I already have two home consoles that I use, is it still worth it to get the regular Switch to use the docking feature or is it better to just go with the Lite?

  29. So Christmas is coming and I really want a switch buttttt I have a brother and I like to play games with him and that’s a big part for my family they always want us to play together but if I get a lite on Christmas I won’t be able to play two player games soo witch one should I get😩😭

  30. I had an old gen and sold it after finishing Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild. Bought a v2 when I moved back to my parents. Moved away and stood quite some time without a videogame console. Bought a new V2 and am now thinking to return it and stick to a blue Lite. Dunno what to do, man.

  34. If you're going to be playing in portable mode 9 times out of 10, get the Lite. It feels better in hand, it's more portable. It's cheaper. I can't overstate how much better it feels since it's one solid unit as opposed to feeling the creaking etc of the joycons on the regular switch. I own both, and almost all of my time is spent on the lite.

I've had both and currently own a switch lite I never used it on my tv I have my own PC that I play my main games and I got a switch specificly to just sit in bed and play I would love to have a lite xl the all in one design feels much much more solid in the hand but the side of the og switch screen is so nice but for me the switch lite is all I need untill or if they make a lite with a bigger screen

  40. Last year I was deciding between a regular switch and a lite. I got the lite because I prefer handheld gaming and I have small hands. I also didn't like the feel of the OG switch buttons and the fact that the joy cons feel a teensy wobbly when holding the switch handheld. I'm sososososo happy with my lite and I saved money!

  41. Ive had mine since January, really enjoying it. no drift yet. Still works the same as day one. knock on wood of course.. To anyone who wants one, just buy it and enjoy it. Trust me its worth the 200 bucks. Dont dwell too much on the drift possibility.. Its not common as alot of folks think.
