Great model for new purchasers who want the hybrid aspects of it. Me? I can't be bothered to take mine off my dock. In fact if they had made a cheaper model for home only (a reverse of the lite) I would've bought that.

I've never personally seen the appeal of 4K. 720p/1080p is fine for me. The only thing I wished they did was at least double the RAM.

I have a modern gaming PC and my brother will be getting a PS5 as soon as he can. If I wanted to play cross-platform games, I'm going to get it for PS4/PS5/PC. If I want to play Super Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, or Metroid, I'll be using the Switch.

Also, this model is not really for people who own the current Switch. Nintendo have stated that this is for people who don't have a switch (like me for example)

As always, no real value in nintendo products. A portable console for the price of a stationary one, with a fraction of the features and a fraction of the performance.

it looks cool but i don’t think i’m getting it, the hand held mode on the regular switch is fine, if your careful with the stand that’s also fine, and the games are staying the same unlike xbox and playstion. Plus the normal switch comes in many different versions, i have the animal crossing one and i don’t think i need a bigger screen or a new dock

This is what happens when Nintendo army fanboys always are happy to pay for crappy old hardware and make excuses for Nintendo. Wont buy another product from N until i see real upgrader. Oled actually is going to be a nice touch, and don’t forget that it increases the picture quality, and brightness, making the screen bigger will really make handheld more exciting! The stand will be a huge upgrade, and I personally am looking forward to this new upgrade for the switch. Thank you for your time.
